Cubanito Hotel Ibiza Review
Hotel Overview
The Cubanito Hotel Ibiza is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in.
It’s right up our street with its quirky, calm and relaxed character.
The Cubanito Hotel combines Cuban style and modern comfort in a stylish Art Deco building and is the perfect hotel for your Insta pics!
The Cubanito Hotel belongs to a hotel group known as Concept Hotel Group.
Cubanito is one of a series of retro hotels dotted around Ibiza, and they offer an experience unlike anything we have known before.
So, if you’re looking for a fabulous Ibiza hotel but don’t fancy a Cuban-inspired one, check out THIS website to view Cubanito’s sister hotels.
The staff at the Cubanito Hotel were always friendly and helpful.
We had a slight delay checking in.
We booked through Airbnb, and there appeared to be some crossed wires, but the staff sorted it out, and all was well.
The Location
If you’re looking for somewhere central, the Cubanito Hotel might not be for you, but if you don’t mind being a little out of town in a relaxed part of town, it’s the place for you!
Located near the beautiful bay of Cala Gració, the Cubanito Hotel is a 15-20 minute (1.5km) walk to Cafe Mambo and a 25-30 minute (2.2 km) walk to the centre of the harbour area.
The Rooms
Three room types are available – Junior Suite, Suite and Junior Suitthreefor 3 persons.
In each room, you’ll find a SMEG fridge to keep your beers cool, a Marshall Bluetooth speaker to keep you entertained, and trendy eighties furniture.
The hotel has sixty rooms, and each one is named after an international contemporary artist and features an original work of art donated by the artist.
How cool.
The Pool Area
There’s a small shallow pool at the Cubanito, surrounded by some decent sun loungers, where you can relax.
We didn’t spend much time there, but there was always a friendly vibe when we did.
The Restaurant
We didn’t eat dinner at the Cubanito, but we had breakfast during our stay.
The outdoor seating area was a lovely, relaxing setting for breakfast, and the food was delicious.
There’s a small buffet service where you can get drinks, including juice, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bread, pastries, and fruit.
On top of that, you can have dishes including a fry-up, pancakes and salmon with scrambled egg.
There is a bit of something for everyone.
Malecón Roof Terrace
Malecón is a Spanish word for esplanade along a waterfront, but in this case, it’s the roof terrace which offers an incredible sunset.
There’s also a bar, don’t the roof terrace, so grab a beer or your favourite cocktail, and enjoy the view of the Mediterranean sun setting.
